Pet care experience
My wife and I have lived with dogs since we were very little. We’ve both had dogs of every size and breed. My wife has done pet-sitting since she was a young teenager, mostly for friends and family. We now have our own sweet boy — he’s a large mixed breed named Rufus. He has totally enriched our lives.

We have a fenced yard with enough space for multiple dogs to play comfortably. If they are outside, it will not be for prolonged periods of time unless we are outside with them. Inside, we will meet their nutrition needs in accordance with what is normal for them at home. They will be free to rest when they wish and to play when they’re excited.

I don’t have much experience with special needs dogs. However, my wife does, but only minimally. If your dog does require some extra attention and/or assistance, we are still happy accommodate if you are comfortable explaining to us what extra things we need to do or be aware of.
A typical day
My wife and I love to take our dog to different parks. We play inside the house with various toys and we do some training that involves learning new commands, as well as learning some more silly tricks as well. I go on walks and our yard is fenced and open for playing and running around.

Availability
I have a full time job. However, my wife is at home most days. She is very enthusiastic about caring for extra furry friends while I am at work, but of course we are both looking forward to the opportunity to care for them while I am home, as well. I am able to do dog-walking after my normal work hours and I am also able to check in on your pets in their own home while you’re away.
