Pet care experience
I have been raised with dogs in the house. By spending an extensive amount of time with dogs, I know how to interpret their nonverbal cues. I have been dog-sitting for the past seven years with dogs of all sizes and ages, and it has become one of my favorite jobs. Walking and dog-sitting dogs provides me with an opportunity to exercise and spend time with the world's greatest animal. I am comfortable delivering medications to older dogs, and making sure I can meet the needs of both you and your pet. I also have a dog-friendly car (2012 VW Jetta), so if your pet has a park they enjoy or if they need a bath at the local groomer, I can make sure they get there. I am open to doing whatever needs to be done to make sure you and your pet are happy and satisfied. I am also open to meeting with you beforehand to make sure you trust me with your pet!

When taking care of pets overnight, I know how to ensure the dog doesn’t get into rooms (or food bags) they aren’t allowed into, as well as ensuring that the doors to the outside are securely fastened. I also have experience watching dogs in both fenced and unfenced yards and keeping them safe in both environments.

A typical day
Depending on your dogs needs, I can play fetch with them for as long as they need, take them on walks around the neighborhood, or socialize them at nearby parks. Long walks are always on the table! They’re great for your furry friend and for me! I always take a pup on a walk first thing in the morning, and make sure they are getting outside time throughout the day.

Availability
I work during the day Mon-Thurs but am free to look after your best friend in the afternoons, evenings, and all day Friday-Sunday. I’m sure we can find a schedule that works for both of us!
