Let me just start by saying that Avery was simply an absolute lifesaver for me! My pup Angus does not do well at all with Kennels so i knew I never wanted to put him through that again. He wears his emotions right out in the open so when he is happy you know it immediately, but when he’s sad, stressed, or depressed - you know that immediately also which is how he always was for DAYS after coming home from a kennel. (The 3 times I was forced to do it). So fast forward to my finding this site and nervously looking for someone to not only care for my 4 legged baby, but also trust to stay in my home which is a lot to ask of someone you just met. Avery more than fit the bill on both counts. During our first meeting, Angus immediately liked her and I could tell she was more than comfortable with dogs even as he licked her continuously (his sign of affection). I was able to enjoy my vacation without the heaping side of guilt at leaving Angus for once! She sent me daily pictures/updates and even let Angus on the bed with her! (He does sleep on my bed, but wouldn’t require anyone else to allow that). When I returned from vacation, Angus greeted me with his usual enthusiasm and I could tell right away that he had been lovingly cared for by Avery just by his demeanor and the fact that he kept jumping up for her to pick him up for kisses, pets, and to show his toy to. Yea - he was a happy boy!!! I would absolutely ask Avery back to watch Angus again without a moment’s hesitation. (And I will!) She brought the mail in, cared for my sweet boy AND washed her guest sheets/towels before I got home! (Was super surprised and appreciative of that gesture) I would be happy to recommend Avery to anyone looking for a dog sitter, and I guarantee that Angus would too! Thank you so much :)

Avery is a natural with dogs! She's gentle, fun, trusting and caring with my doggies. My Simba and Orchid look for her when I say her name. She's a great handler and communicator about the care and fun my dogs have when I entrust my dogs with her! Your furry friends are in good hands with Avery! Paula H.
