Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs ever since I was 8. In the past I’ve had a boxer, a puggle, and an American Shorthair cat. I’m currently a full-time college student but back in my home town, I have a straight-haired toy poodle who I adore the most in the world (I’ve included pictures of him)! I have experience with dog walking and sitting. I think that it’s such a delight to have pets around and would love to watch your furry friend on the weekends! I’ll be sure to send plenty of updates/photos/videos and treat your fur baby like my own. I’ve had experience with many different breeds of dogs from large German Shepherds to small senior Shih-Tzus and I love them all! Family and friends have always been able to rely on me to care for their pets. I love all animals (even though I do have a soft spot for cats and dogs) but I’ve also had birds, fish, a turtle, a hamster, and a bunny in the past.

We are very happy to find Avery and her cat services. Our cat adjusted very well to Avery probably due to Avery’s attentiveness. We have already hired her for future visits.

I live in a spacious apartment with no other pets and one other roommate. We have a fenced balcony and no yard, but we have access to a grass patch right outside our unit.

Please let me know if your dog is potty trained, if they bark a lot (and if so, any triggers), any schedules that they follow (potty schedules, walks, feeding, etc), how they do around other dogs/animals/people, etc. Any information that will make your pet as comfortable as possible will be much appreciated! Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences that I can account for :) I’m flexible and willing to accommodate. I do live in an apartment so for daycare/boarding needs, I prefer small-medium dogs but if you’ve got a gentle giant, we can definitely make it work!
A typical day
I’m willing to accommodate to any kind of dog and would love to help keep your dogs active by giving plenty of walks if that’s what they like, if you have a total lap dog, or a combination of both :)) I’d love to take your dog to a nice park or even to a dog-friendly beach if that’s what they love! We can even stop by to get a pup cup from Starbucks (if they have no dietary restrictions).

Availability
I’m currently a full-time college student and work a part-time job as a behavior therapist for children with autism but I have plenty of time all weekend to care for your pets! I can provide potty breaks, walk times, and play times throughout the day and can ensure that your pet will get all my love and attention while they’re with me! :) BOARDING AND DOGGY DAY CARE: Currently I have on my calendar that I’m unavailable on most weekdays and only have availabilities on weekends, however this is just due to my work and school schedule as I don’t have as much time on weekdays as I would on weekends. However, if your fur baby is able to be alone between 4-6 hours on weekdays, feel free to reach out and I’d love to spend time with a new furry friend :)
