For as long as I can remember, animals have been a part of my life. My gentle nature toward animals started with my first pet (a hamster!) and only grew from there. I’ve worked in a handful of places specializing in animal care, from shelters to cage-free doggy daycares with 160+ dogs daily. I’ve seen firsthand how smaller dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with different and special needs are relegated. I’m looking to provide dogs like these with all the attention and love that they deserve. I believe in healthy exercise to help prevent boredom and bad behavior. I believe in non-abrasive care, where even the shyest of dogs can open up. I value open and honest communication with you. My dog, Lucy, has a very mellow personality - She loves long walks, treats & chews, lounging in the sun, and cuddling up. She’s great at going with the flow. She tends to be more reserved, but misses having a friend. I would love to find her some friends! I can provide nail trims, baths, brushes, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. I can reinforce + implement behaviors you’d like to see, and discourage the ones you don’t.
