Animal Whisperer Filling The Void
Pet care experience
I have been around all kinds of animals and pets since I can remember, and was taught to have a great affinity with nature and its critters. I have a great interest in animal science, rehabilitation, therapy, behavior, conservation, cuddles, nose/snoot boops etc. I’ve worked with horses, and have ample experience with senior and large breed dogs. Throughout my life I’ve had cats, dogs, and small animals of my own. I’ve also spent my free time rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife since I was a teen, even just within Madison where I grew up. I also worked at a vet clinic when I was in my 20s so I know how to administer medications with ease, and can even do subcutaneous fluids/IV on cats. Long story short, I love being around animals. Although I currently only have 2 cats, Leif and Huck, any opportunity where I can be around other pets or animals I am down! Thank you for your consideration ☺️

Avery is a delight. Our two Danes love when they get to spend time with Avery. She is calm which works great for our two. Her expertise with elderly Danes is a blessing for us...and our dogs. She has excellent communication skills and is easy to work with. I highly recommend Avery.
Avery was lovely! She did a great job taking care of my two dogs, one of which is older and does not walk well. He takes some special care and she went the extra mile to make sure he was happy and comfortable. The house looked just like I left it and the dogs were totally happy and chill when I got home. I will book Avery in the future for sure!
Avery has a really calm energy and did great with Princess!
Avery is great with our dogs, Jax and Izzy. When we travel I feel very at ease knowing she is taking care of them. The house was very clean when I arrived home.

I understand there is a great level of trust when leaving your pet in the care of another, as well as the trust needed between caregiver and animal. This doesn’t work without it. Pets get all my love. I was also a nanny for several years, so my approach to fun, engagement, and enrichment is not that different than with kiddos.

Information Avery C. would like to know about your pet
-Any special needs -diet/feeding or restrictions -how they are around other animals •either while walking on leash with other dogs Or •around cats, since I have two -favorite things, or comforts; whether that be treats, parks, or familiar toys -their walking/activity/exercise/play schedule, and how long they’re able to be left alone during the day -commands known And any other pertinent info you would like me to know. The more the better imo :)
A typical day
Some dogs are lazy, some dogs have favorite parks and want to run. I will accommodate anything that normalizes the pups time with me so they are at ease, comfortable and having fun. Same goes for cats!

I recently moved back to Madison from Seattle, and am currently in school full-time at Madison college @ the Truax campus. However, I only have in person classes two days a week on Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30-10:15 and 12:30-1:15. So I’m able to come “home” in between classes if need be, especially if it’s not too far (I prefer to). I’m doing the transfer program to UW-Madison for Psychology, and I do Rover full-time 🙂
