Avery was absolutely PHENOMENAL with making sure the level of exercise, snuggles, and love was given to my two pups while I was gone. She was amazing with Otis (my highly reactive and skittish woofer) and knew exactly how to interact with him as well as follow our training plan with him so that his confidence could continue to grow! With Narwhal (our 2 year old English sheep dog puppy) she made sure that she got plenty of exercise (even a 9 mile walk) and attention despite it raining most of the time we were gone. I seriously cannot say enough good things and am so excited to have her as our long term sitter!!

After signing the Declaration of Independence, George Washington exclaimed that “a dog is a man’s best friend!” Flash forward a few hundred years (give or take) and the world is a different place, and in today’s society Avery is a dog’s best friend. Big dogs, small dogs, shy dogs, happy dogs, sad dogs, sick dogs, and even dogs that travel at speed nervous have all fallen paws over snout for Avery and her joyful demeanor. Saying she has a big heart for dogs is a vast understatement. Avery can care for a wide range of pooches and mutts without issue. In fact, when I had to abruptly go out of town she offered to care for my dogs. My dogs are all food aggressive, old, grumpy, and can’t control their bladders; but Avery made sure to feed them seperately, let them out (and walk them) multiple times a day, give them each their own prescribed medications, and even cleaned their kennels when they had accidents. I was truly impressed with the patience she exhibited around such hard to handle canines. Avery places extreme importance on a dog’s overall well-being and quality of life. Avery is truly a dog’s best friend. I’m very happy to have such a compassionate and responsible woman look after my dogs.
