For the first time ever, I found myself needing a dog sitter. My mother in law would keep both my dogs whenever we went on vacation but she is getting up in age and just couldn’t do it anymore. A neighbor recommended Avalon. I was kind of nervous at first because I wanted someone staying at my home with my dogs for the whole week and now a days it is very hard to find someone you trust not only to take care of your pets but to stay in your home. But after the first day my mind was at ease. Avalon texted me each day and sent me pics of my babies. She even noticed a little scab that was on one of my dog’s back and she texted me immediately and said she’d had put antibiotic ointment on it. She was always keeping me updated. When we got home I noticed my older dog looked a bit thinner (this is a good thing cause he’s very over weight) I had originally told her he doesn’t need to be walked. He will do his business.l in the yard. But she walked him as well and he seemed to love it. She actually even walked them both at the same time. They are smaller dogs so it’s fine but I never do because I get frustrated with the leashes getting tangled together. My smaller dog’s coat was so soft. I could tell that she used her detangle spray and brushed her coat. Avalon went above and beyond dog sitting my babies. She is a very kind, gentle, responsible young woman that I highly recommend if you are looking for a dog caregiver.
