I have two dogs of my own that I am the primary caretaker for, as well as experience pet-sitting for several dogs and cats of neighbors, family, and friends. I have pet sat for both sick dogs and cats that required special pills, and can handle potty breaks, walks, and overnight care. I will not feed pets unusual or human food without permission, I will not socialize them with other dogs without you asking or let them off leash in a possibly dangerous or not fenced area. I would need as much information as you could provide about your dog before hand. I will ask questions about their age, any special or specific needs, their routines and daily needs as far as interaction, food, exercise, and medicine, their level of comfort with other dogs or people, what you would like me to do each day, and all the logistics of the job (how long it will be for, payment, etc)
A typical day
It’s important to meet your dogs physical and mental needs throughout the day. I would communicate with you about your dogs specific needs and routines, and build a fun and active day that meets those needs while respecting your dogs limits. We could go for long or short walks, multiple walks, play games inside or outdoors depending on your rules and routines, and if you desire pay a visit to a local dog friendly park! (With permission, of course, and provided your dog is also dog friendly)

Availability
I am a part time student and part time receptionist at a local science museum, with too much time off and a flexible schedule. I would make your pets a priority and would be available to give at least two breaks every day of the week, more on days without prior commitments to school or work.
