Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I was a little girl, and that rings true today! I grew up with the sweetest Maine Coon, and I’ve taken care of my parent's golden retriever for the past 8 years and helped train her. Now that I have more time and space, I love being a sitter and I even foster when I can. I’ve fostered 4 sweet pups in the last year from 8 months to 10 years old and all were adopted within 2 months! As a grad student with a very flexible schedule, I thought this would be a great way to continue getting time with animals while making a little side money. I have house-sat, done drop-by visits, and had dogs stay with me while their owners are away on trips. I’m ready to be your next go-to dog sitter 😁 I will take care of them and love them like they are my own while making sure they stick to any training or rules you have implemented. I look forward to meeting your pups (and you too)!

Ava was a life saver! We contacted her last minute to take care of our pup overnight, and she was great! She picked him up from our place in the early morning before we had to catch a flight, and dropped him off once we arrived home with all of his stuff exactly how we had packed it up for her. She was on top of giving him the medicine he was taking at the time, and kept us updated on how he was doing the entire time she had him. We will definitely use Ava again in the future!
Ava was amazing at taking care of my fur babies. She took great care of my pups, Mia and Nes, and my 3 bunnies. She kept me updated and sent me cute pics of them. I will recommend Ava to anyone looking for a loving pet sitter!
Ava has taken care of our cat, Juan Pablo, for about one year and we could not be more pleased with our experience! Juan does not like very many people; in fact, he is notoriously private, but he warmed to Ava immediately! Ava is dependable, trustworthy, and so kind. She even took time out of her schedule to watch Juan at the very last minute the weekend of our wedding - she was a lifesaver. I highly recommend Ava! She is simply the best.
Ava did a great job with our golden retriever. She was very communicative and sent pictures throughout the stay. i could tell she really enjoyed taking care of Coda.

I live alone in a spacious apartment and have a large fenced-in dog park that is perfect for getting the zoomies out. I also live within 5 minutes of a few parks and greenways that I like to go walk :)

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs, physically and mentally. I will play with them with toys, and I love things such as lick mats, or toys that make them think a little bit more. I also value time outside for myself, and a dog, so I will take them on walks, or to play in the dog park.

Availability
I'm currently a graduate student with an afternoon/evening class 3 days a week, so I have plenty of time during the day to play with the animals I am boarding, house-sitting, or walking! I can board any day of the week or weekend.
