Loving Family with Space Galore!
Pet care experience
We are a fun, dog-loving family of 6 with years of experience caring for 4-legged pals of all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities. We are new to FL (originally from DC), and I are looking forward to connecting with new furry friends in the Sunshine State! With a big family, your pet will never want for attention! And we respect and honor dogs' need for plenty of exercise and exploration, too. That is why we have a huge, fenced-in yard and go for multiple walks each day. Our own two dogs (a 12-year-old mutt and a 7-year-old Shih Tzu) have grown up welcoming other dogs into our home and get along with everyone. I am a teacher, so, during the school year, my 18-year-old son has the day shift with the dogs. He has been helping out with pups since he was little and does a great job of keeping them happy while I am at school. *Please note that our daily rate is for up to 24 hours, and then the rate for a new day applies. For example, if you drop your pup off on Saturday morning and pick her up on Sunday evening, that is a 2-day stay.
Reviews
Autumn was amazing! I hadn’t left Foster with anyone he didn’t know in a long time and she was not only great about allowing a meet-and-greet but sent pics and kept me up to date during his stay. She even reached out to double check before administering Foster’s meds as my instructions were terrible lol. Autumn was very communicative and quick to respond. Foster seemed to enjoy himself and made friends with the family and their two dogs. I would definitely recommend Autumn and would ask her to sit again if needed the next time I’m in FL.

Fox loves visiting Autumn! She always comes home happy! Autumn is very flexible schedule wise and very communicative.
Autumn and her family did an excellent job watching Hamilton. It was so nice to not have to worry about him... I highly recommend Autumn!!!!

Our home and family are the perfect, welcoming space for your dog! They get lots of attention from our big family and plenty of exercise throughout the day. We can crate dogs that need that, but, generally, the pups are free to roam the house and get regular access to the backyard. We take multiple walks a day, as well, so that all the dogs come home tired and happy.

Information Autumn W. would like to know about your pet
Please share with us any special needs your dog might have. And please let us know if you dog has any issues with children. We can often accommodate dogs with special needs, but it is important to discuss the situation in advance. Please note that we do not accept dogs who are medicated for separation anxiety. While there is almost always someone home (we are rarely all out of the house for more than an hour or two), there is a lot of coming and going of different members of the family. This can be stressful for dogs with severe separation anxiety, even if I am the constant point person for them. So, please know that if your dog has severe separation anxiety that requires medication, we are not the right fit.
A typical day
Your dog gets tons of quality time and attention. With 6 dog-lovers in the home, there is always someone happy to pet and play. And because one of us is home nearly all the time, your dog will almost never be left alone. Dogs at our house have access to our huge, fenced-in yard any time they want it. And we go on multiple walks daily. After all that love and exercise, dogs sleep great at our house, with several rugs and dog beds available for them to snuggle up.

I am a local teacher, so during the school year, I take care of pups first thing in the morning, and then my 18-year-old son takes over the day shift. He does walks, potty time, and playtime throughout the day. Then, when I get home from school, we do another long outdoor break (walk and/or yard time), depending on weather. The rest of the evening is fun family/dog time with everyone home. Weekends are our flexible time when the pups get all their walks, potty time, and playtime, but with our big family around the whole day.
