Autumn was always exceptionally patient and understanding to her own elderly dog and my energetic husky. So when my family decided to go on a two week trip for my husbands grandfathers memorial, it seemed common sense to have her dog sit for Blaze, the husky. When I returned from my trip i knew she had walked him often and visited him just as much, which was evident by the fact my house was not completely destroyed. However, the most impressive part was that she taught Blaze to walk on a leash! I have been pulled along on our daily walks for almost his entire life, buying many harnesses and collars. He has improved some with age and work, but walking was always our Achilles heal. Autumn took those two weeks as an opportunity, with my permission and knowledge throughout, to buy him a special no-pull collar. That she found through her own research and money. And then to patiently teach him to wear it and walk with it, correcting him throughout. I honestly wish I had met autumn and gone on this trip sooner, if only to have Blaze walking so well! I am forever grateful and will always call autumn first when i need a walker, sitter, or guide.
