Raised with animals! A natural with pets, I truly love to give time and energy to your animals and my clients and their pets can tell! If you dropped in on us, you would likely find your babies and I : laying on the floor cuddling, sitting outside in the sun for hours, rough-housing, going to the park, playing with toys, or you might find me trying to figure out how to get them interested in doing anything 😂. I have had many stays with 3 different families, I still work for them! But, now that I have moved to Illinois, I am looking for new families to connect with! My dogs were very happy with Autumn at our house. Autumn was friendly and professional. She gave our dogs lots of love and attention. The house was left immaculate!
Autumn has never worked for me in the traditional sense, because I'm one of her professors. I teach animal behavior and biological conservation. I have known Autumn for a couple of years. She is smart, willing to work hard, and responsible. She has actual training in biology and animal behavior, and she has a genuine love for animals. I am also a dog lover and dog owner. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her to watch my own dogs.

I am a very attentive caregiver, because I have special needs and senior pets! I am always refilling water (very important for certain health conditions), diligent about meals, and I am watchful for issues or anything I should contact pet parents about. I will NEVER leave you out of the loop!!

Very important to know health issues!!! I will want to know any symptoms I should be watching for too (ex. Heart failure dogs cough before an episode). I also like to know how to call them (very hard getting clients dogs to come when called), and any favorite activities or treats.
A typical day
My favorite thing to do with my pet clients is to take them to a new park and give them a run! They love the trees, plants, hills, and the soft dirt under their feet. I also love to play, hopefully they do too! I would say the most special activity I do with them is snuggling. Dogs can tell if you actually want to give them hugs and love, and I often end up chilling with the pets on the floor!

Availability
I only do part time work, because I like to save time for my own animals! My partner helps me to manage our family so I can still work with new pet friends! Pet care is all I do at home, and its all I will do as your animals' caretaker.
