Austin is a wonderful, kind and compassionate soul to anyone or anything that crosses his path in life. He is absolutely fantastic with animals and has such a connection with them, right from the start, especially dogs! He has been around them since he was he was about a year old and encountered his best friend for the next 12 years of his life, growing up together and learning lots along the way. They taught each other patience, loyalty, compassion and love - mixed in with a ton of fun and laughs. It is amazing to see how quickly Austin can bond with and gain the trust of an animal. He treats them like they deserve to be treated in life, with love and respect, just like family. We have three dogs and a cat in our family and I can't imagine not having Austin around to enrich their lives. He loves to play with them and challenge them with games and tricks, as well as just hanging out and snuggling with them. He has been around dogs of all ages, from as young as just 10 days old to 12 years old and is not afraid of big dogs. He has been there for bottle feedings (our lab and her sister) and the end stages of life for our Anatolian at 12 years old - and was always there offering comfort, love and security along the way. Whenever he is around, the tails do not stop wagging!
