Pet care experience
Been an animal lover all my life, so much so that I attended John Bowne High School where I was in their Animal Science program. I also was a vet tech for awhile before heading to SUNY Cobleskill, where I Studied animal science and obtained a degree in Applied Sciences. I always had a special place in my heart for dogs because of how expressive, affectionate, and loyal they can be. I understand these guys are family and would treat them as such. I recently moved back to NYC after traveling for marketing for a year, and while looking for a new career, I decided to earn some cash doing something I'd love. Get paid to hang out and take care of your best buddy? Yes please.

Austin was so great and so communicative the entire time he was house sitting! We appreciated him so much and would love to have him watch our pup next time we need!
We have been trusting Austin with the care of our sensitive rescue cat Lina for years now. She is normally very wary of people, but she loves Austin (which says a lot about his kindness, patience, and compassion for animals) and when he house-sits we know our trips can be worry free knowing she is cared for. Yet another trip where we come home to a relaxed, happy, and content kitty! Thank you Austin!

Any information about their temperament would be helpful, such as how well they get along with children, other pets, new people, etc. If they have any dietary restrictions or allergies I should know about. Also if you are working on training your dog, I would love to know how you are going about it, and what you are looking to have them trained in. Consistency is key with training, and I would like to be able to support you with doing so.
A typical day
Taking my dog out for their walks was always "their part of the day", where they get to just be a dog and socialize with their kind or just explore new areas of the neighborhood. I'm very intuitive and can read animals energy really well, so depending on the area, and your dogs temperament, we would be doing much of the same, taking walks around the neighborhood and if there are dog parks around I would love to allow them to get the opportunity to play and make some new friends. Ultimately you know your pooch best so recommendations are always welcomed as well.
