Playful dog person, home full time

I was raised with dogs as family pets, and have always considered myself a dog person. What Austin would like to know about your dog

No breed preferences whatsoever. I would simply like to know the basic facts about the dog. Is it good with strangers? History of biting or snapping in stressful or unfamiliar situations? Behavior towards other dogs?

Just the basic information that will help me understand the best way to approach and handle the dog I will be providing care for.

When Austin watches your dog

I will happily follow pre-determined walking routes set by you the owner, but as a new resident in the area I enjoy exploring and would love to walk your dog on varied routes when possible. If they say that taking a different route home is good exercise for a human brain, it can't be bad for a doggy brain. If your dog is stick, ball, or fetch crazy, I will happily accommodate that too! If I am dropping in or house-sitting, I can play with the dog in the yard for a time before moving on. Basically, whatever guidelines are set by the owner will be adhered to. I understand that many people spend valuable time and money training their dogs, so the last thing I want to do is reinforce bad behaviors in an animal that is not mine. If I am left with clear instructions regarding commands, or bad habits to be aware of, I will follow those guidelines.
