Hi I’m Austin! I grew up around Charlotte and moved back a few years ago after graduating from USC. I have always had a love for dogs before rescuing my first while in college 5 years ago and never looked back - truly man's best friend. I have been doing Rover ever since then to give him friends and help others the way I hope for when I have to trust my dog with someone else. I never shy away from meeting new dogs and just as excited for the chance to care for them! If you choose me as a sitter, I commit to being dependable-first and will also do everything I can to be flexible and ensure you have nothing to worry about while you are away. I do have a busy schedule but taking care of my dog is a top priority for me, and you can rest assured that yours will be as well if I commit to watching them. I use only positive discipline with my dog and will translate the same behavior to yours while trying to give them as much freedom as I can.

I’d like to know if they bark a lot and also if social with other dogs/people. I love all medium to large sized-breeds especially ones that can match my dog’s energy and be relaxed when it is not play time.
A typical day
Walks around the local greenway, a large open (fenced) backyard for activities, and a playful friend in my dog who loves to meet new dogs and be active.

Availability
I work full-time, but my dog is a top priority for me when I am home. I take him for a walk or run every morning/evening and it is my outlet just as much as it is his. Always open to bring more dogs into the fun when available!
