I love dogs! I have never owned my own dog but I have watched other people's dogs. I've watched some of my mothers coworker's dogs. I would go on walks and runs with them daily. I would always make sure that they eat and drink water. I make sure that there aren't any tiny items around the house for the dog to mistakenly eat. I let the dog roam the house (not restricting it to just one zone). I'll let your dog lay by me when I'm ready to go to sleep. I'll wash your dog if need be. I always give dogs rubs on their belly! Anything that is required for me to keep you and your dog happy, I will be the one to do it!
