Aurora is great with my 2 cats. She’s taken care of them on multiple occasions and it always goes smoothly. I would recommend Aurora to anyone!

We had the best experience with Aurora! Our shy kitty slowly warmed up to her and now seems to love her! We got daily updates while we were away, including pictures and videos, which helped us trust that our cat was being taken care of well. Highly recommend!!!

Aurora was such a great friend to our cat while we were away!! It was comforting to know she was taking great care of him, and we got pics every day so we could see how he was doing. Thanks Aurora!!

I also have experience making drop-in and overnight visits for cats. I have cared for many cats through Rover and have been booked repeatedly by owners to care for many of them. I look forward with excitement every time I get the chance to revisit these furry friends and enjoy their special purrsonalities. In addition, I have experience giving oral and injected medications to cats (syringe feeding, liquid sedatives for travel, pills, insulin). I also have experience introducing and integrating new pets. I brought a new cat into my two-cat household for a temporary stay of 2 months, and it went very well. My cats, whom I thought would never take to another cat in the house, were friendly or at least tolerant of the other cat within 3 days, and no longer territorial after 2 weeks. I CANNOT HOST CATS but I can come to your place. Your kitty/kitties will get lots of love, head scratches, toys, play time, and treats (in moderation). My cats stay indoors, but I'd be happy to take yours outside, on- or off-leash -- ONLY at your request and only if they are used to it. One of my former clients, Hobbes, was let outside daily, and I always told him 'Be safe, make good choices!' Most of my excellent reviews speak for themselves. If you have any questions about any of my reviews, please ask - my side of the story is quite a bit different!

Information Aurora F. would like to know about your pet

I love all dogs, cats, and other animals. Before I care for yours, I'd like to know your pet's temperament, level of training and obedience, favourite treats, food restrictions and/or allergies, and any bad habits or health issues to watch for. This will allow me to approach their care with the right preparation for a smooth, happy visit. Your furry friend will be treated like family!

A typical day

Walks will be through predominantly residential, tree-lined streets and/or parks. I'll always come prepared with doggy-doo bags and treats approved by you. I'm considerate and conscientious, so all poop will be bagged and binned - I never want to be *that* person if I can help it! If you live near a park or trail, your dog will be taken there for some natural outdoor time and socialization with other dogs (unless requested not to for medical/other reasons). If your dog is good off-leash, after a few visits with me and only with your permission, I can try them with a little freedom in appropriate areas. For dogs needing more exercise like playing fetch or running off-leash with other dogs, I require that you live within 2km of an off-leash area/dog park because I'll need to bring them there and back on foot; I do not drive (by choice, not carelessness/criminality). I'm also happy to walk your cat if they're trained for it! Rabbit? Sure! Iguana? When it's warm enough! Turtle? Why not? I want to make your life simpler by putting your mind at ease that your non-human loved one will be cared for almost as if you were there yourself.

I have cared for numerous dogs through Rover - on drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight sitting - and have been booked for repeat visits to care for many pups, who are all dear to me. I have experience giving oral and injected medications to dogs (supplements, insulin). I CANNOT HOST DOGS - it's too stressful for my elderly cat - so I'm happy to come to your place to walk, play with, care for, watch over, or stay overnight with your furry friend(s). Your family member(s) will be loved just like my own.
