Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Aurora. I’ve worked in person at a dog boarding and daycare place for over a year, working with many different types and sizes of animals. Outside of my boarding job, I’ve worked hands on with animals and have also pet sat for multiple family members and friends for roughly over nine years. I’ve cared for older dogs and cats and know how to administer oral medications.

Aurora took care of our house full of pets(3 dogs, for crested geckos, a Russian tortoise, and a large fish tank) for eight nights and I could not be happier. She sent pictures and provided frequent updates. We came home to a clean house and happy healthy pets.
Aurora was easy to work with, responded quickly, and sent lots of pictures. She took great care of our two boy cats.

Unless they are comfortable around me, I respect every dog’s boundaries and don’t like to overstep their boundaries. Going slow with them and coaxing with treats help win over their love! I give returning client discounts as well! If you would like to add on a bath, please let me know! Grooming prices vary depending on size but averages to about $20-65.

A typical day
If your pet has a favorite park or trail to walk on, I would love to take them. Every dog’s activity and energy level is different but as long as you let me know what care you expect from me, I will follow through. You will be receiving daily pictures throughout the stay :)

Availability
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: I have class Monday through Thursday from 11:30-2:30. Although my availability changes constantly for school, I do my best to update my Rover calendar as needed. I also work remotely for the dog boarding facility mentioned above so I bring my laptop with me! I try to be as flexible and transparent as possible with my availability if there is conflict with the requested dates/service. Also note that I have four parakeets in my room (for boarding requests) and if that is an issue for your pet, please let me know ahead of time.
