Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals of all sorts my entire life. From cats and dogs to jaguars and leopards! I have veterinary care experience as a vet assistant and have mastered the art of getting even the pickiest of animals to take their medications. I also have experience giving injectible medications such as insulin or subQ fluids. As a former exotic cat keeper and wildlife rehab assistant, I have really gotten the hang of calming animals in otherwise stressful situations and have learned how to read animal body language and cues. You can count on me to bathe, feed, medicate, walk, and do whatever else you are relying on me to do. Given my keeper/wildlife rehab background, I am also available for exotics sitting. Aurora was amazing with our two dogs. She kept us informed about our dog that stresses while we are away and sent pictures that made us know they were well taken care of.
Aurora was awesome! We had to use Rover for the first time after our normal house sitters were unavailable. Admittedly we felt uneasy about it at first, but upon meeting Aurora our concerns dissipated. She executed all of our dogs needs, kept the house in order, took the trash out even though I didn’t ask her to (big bonus points there) , and kept us updated with texts and pictures of our pups the whole time! I would recommend her to anyone on here looking for services. Thanks Aurora!!!

I pride myself on my ability to read animals' behavior and cues. I know when to leave an animal alone to relax and decompress, or when to snuggle. As far as walking goes, I have walked small dogs, large dogs, ferrets, and even exotic cats! (caracals and cheetahs to be exact!). I am very tidy and am sure to never leave anything out that may be otherwise harmful to an animal.

I ask you to let me know of your animal's special needs. Whether it may be something they become aggressive with other dogs or around certain people, or things like allergies, likes/dislikes, medical issues to be made aware of, etc. I want to tailor you and your fur baby's experience as best I can.
A typical day
I love to engage with your dogs at their pace. If you have a quiet, sleepy senior who wants snuggles and quiet time, I can do that. If you have a very happy, excitable puppy who loves to play and show off, you bet we can play fetch and go for a walk/run all afternoon! I truly do my best to devote all my time and attention to your pet.

Availability
I currently work mornings part-time at the Orlando Science Center so my afternoons and evenings are available for me to spend with your pet. My current schedule is fairly erratic however I'm usually completely free on the weekends. If this is a concern, just message me. I am happy to give you more details and work with you, as my job is pretty flexible.
