I'd love it if you send me some info about your pet and their personality! what are their quirks? their favorite spots to be pet or scratched? is there a specific location near you where they love to explore and go on walks? It's also very important for me to be aware of any special needs or requirements your pet may have, even if it's something as simple as packing extra water because they get super thirsty after walks! In most if not all cases, it is my preference to meet you and hopefully your pet before the care begins so that i can get a feel for their personality and so that i can make sure I have all necessary information before I begin! During this meeting I will be taking down vet and emergency contact information, any notes on medication or special care, and other things that will help me provide the best possible environment for your furry family member.

HOUSE SITTING // while doing overnight stays, I try to go with the flow of whatever your animal wants! Because i'm in their home turf, I like to let your pet guide the activities to make sure they're comfortable with a stranger in their space. If they seem active or playful, i'm all about those tug of war sessions followed by lots of cooing and belly/ear scritches! but if they just want to cuddle/chill on my lap or near my feet and get lazy pets or even be left alone for a little bit, that's okay too. I love providing enrichment as long as it sticks within your guidelines - i'm up for multiple walks a day, running around or throwing a ball in the backyard (if you have one), and just generally letting your pet forget that their owner is missing in action for a while so they can have fun! during these stays i'll be available pretty much 24 hours a day in case you need to get in touch about anything! If you're interested I also love sending pet photos, videos, and little write ups of how your furry friend has been that day! I will be spending the vast majority of the time with your pet - during overnight visits my boyfriend is at home to care for our own little ladies, so I have all the time in the world to devote to keeping your pet happy. i'm also totally okay with doing things not necessarily pet related - taking in mail, watering plants, etc! if you'll be gone for more than just a night and would like anything else taken care of, please feel free to let me know and i'll take care fo it to the best of my ability! DROP IN VISITS & WALKING // during these shorter times with your pet I will always text when I arrive and as I leave, let you know how your pet did with eating and drinking (or how their walk went), and send you photos of them if you wish! I'm also 100% committed to spoiling your pet with affection, so i'll most likely take the opportunity to give them a good rub down while i'm there.
