Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Audrey- I am an animal lover, and experienced rover animal caretaker. I live in Ferndale, Michigan. I am currently available for drop-ins (cats or dogs) & walks on evenings or weekends. have most recently been sitter on Rover for 2+ years in Philadelphia and am excited to continue doing so in Ferndale. I am experienced around a wide spectrum of dog breeds including energetic English Springer Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, mixed breeds, and smaller dog breeds such as corgis or pugs... just to name a few :-) Since childhood, pets were always an integral member of the family. In graduate school (in Ann Arbor MI), I routinely pet sat for two lab mixes over the course of two years. I absolutely love the work. I am happy to walk, run, play with dogs, feed, and give medications. I’m also happy to provide cat care. I am so thrilled to meet and care for your four-legged pet! -Audrey

Audrey is a wonderfully warm, responsible, kind, and attentive caregiver! She spent a week with our large senior dog, Ilbo, and went way above and beyond to make sure he was cared for every day, walked, and in good health. She is very responsive and understanding and so fun to work with! We would recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. She is skilled with animals and is a joy to get to know. We are so thankful!
Audrey is the best! She took great care of our cat and dog for a week while we were away, even giving the dog his eye drops. Highly recommend!!
Audrey was great! She did a week long overnight on very short notice! She was super responsive via text and sent pictures of our two little fur babies (dogs) regularly. We feel they were in excellent hands while we were gone and would absolutely recommend her to others!! Great first time experience using Audrey and Rover.com.

I have one dog, Janie a 2-year-old energetic, bubbly & friendly beagle mix. We go on 3+ walks daily, hikes on the weekends, and cuddle on the couch after a long day. I also have a sweet petite cat, Maybelline, 2 years old, who likewise loves all the attention she can get.

I would first like to know the essentials about their health needs. Do they take any meds? Special food needs? I would also like to know their preferences around other people and dogs. Do they like other dogs? How are they with new people? And of course, I would like to know what makes your dog happy. Do they prefer running, walking, or going to the park, both? :-)
A typical day
I will happily take your dog on walks (or runs!) around the neighborhood, run/play with them, give them lots of love. I will make sure to provide dinner, and if they like any treats.
