Home full-time -- run, play, train!

Pet care experience

Hi! Before I tell you about myself, let me just say that I check my account for requests every day at noon! Sometimes more often than that, but definitely once a day at 12pm. So I guarantee to get back to you no later than that 😊 Now! If you're interested in who I am personally: I have always had animals in my life, but (as many people offering this service probably say :P) more than any animal I have always had a special connection with dogs: communicating with and training dogs has come naturally to me pretty much from the get-go. And while I am charismatic and love people, I'm also slightly deceptively anxious around them too, so dogs have been (and I'm sure always will be) not only some of my best friends in life, but also like my own personal, fluffy little therapists, who inspire the courage and positivity in me that I sometimes really need to get me going, or even get me through the day. I don't scream or hit dogs as a form of punishment, as, like I said, it's never been a problem getting to know and train them. And I verily believe in the concept of positive reinforcement. Most dogs are totally welcome to lay and cuddle anywhere with me, I'm down to play whenever a pup has that excess energy (I'm fit and full of energy half the time, myself), and I'm comfortable grooming as well as administering all kinds of medication (to all ages and sizes). I have done a lot of my own research on different breeds, as well as dog nutrition -- general health/diets, and specific diets catered to dogs with certain conditions and needs. (I studied massage therapy and nutrition during my continued-education, so that comes in handy somewhat often.) I just have a Yorkie at the moment, myself, who I have had for almost 4 years and is almost 6 years old. He was a rescue and he was under 4lbs when I got him and had food anxiety, so I had to hand-feed him while I reconditioned him to be comfortable with eating out of his bowl on his own whenever he was hungry. He was also just generally anxious, and it made me so sad because I wasn't able to snuggle or play with him as much as I would have liked to. It took a few months, but now, a few years later, he's almost 6lbs (a beautifully healthy weight!), he is always stoked to play when he wakes up, loves going on walks, and eve acts like a little guard dog when I'm approached by strangers. Nothing makes me happier than to get a sad, sick, or scared dog to wag his tail in genuine joy, and I am confidant in my ability to make it happen one way or another! I'm currently working part-time, with a lot of wiggle room in my schedule. It's easier for me if your buddies can stay with me during the time they need a sitter, but I'm always open to trying to work around your schedule! I have a fenced yard and three friendly dogs that your dogs can play with! I'm always paying attention to where the animals are and whether or not they look bored or anxious. When your buddy is with me, they're safe! And probably pretty happy too. I make my own dog food 😋 so if you would like any of that, I don't mind sharing! And if you're pets need special attention for any particular reason -- with their diet, any physical conditions, even if they need help with obedience training -- I've got you covered. The pack always comes first.

Audrey M. is one of the most kind people I’ve ever known and she is still it standing with animals. She is very loving to them but stern so that the animal remains in good behavior with her, as well as their owner..

Information Audrey M. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know: ~Any history of violence but especially if it is ongoing/frequent ~Extent of potty-training (I can work around any issues with that so don't be afraid of being completely honest :P) ~Energy level: sedentary, moderate, active, or hyper-active, and especially if they're super-hyper-overdrive-active! I would like to be mentally prepared for a dog that never stops! ~Illnesses/chronic conditions (including age-induced disabilities) ~Likelihood of booking it/trying to escape from me or the yard, and their relationship with a leash ~And, for the more involved, or concerned, owners: a list of key phrases to avoid or embrace, favorite treats, toys, and games, and whatever prominent tendencies you feel are worth noting

A typical day

Catch/fetch/tug-o-war, treat-oriented obedience training, walks and jogs around the block and to/around the cementary I live near, and sometimes skateboarding because it seems like dogs love to chase skateboards ? it's a good workout! So if I do my job right, there will be a nap-time after lunch. I also do doggy-massages for the elderly canines. Sometimes they just look like they really need it.
