I know have a 2 year old female German shepherd, who is very friendly and loves others dogs and children.(as I have a 6 year old). I also have a old male black cat. He is very calm and Ive seen my puppy play hard with him but he never bites. He does have his claws. He has never went after a dog, instead he runs away to my neighbors house. He stays outside all day playing and come home at night and leaves before the sun is up. (Independent old man) He also goes on walks with me and my dog around the neighborhood. I have a 6 foot fence and large back yard. I have experience with dogs that cant hear or see. (he was very old). I can cut nails as well.Your dog will never be just locked in a crate all day. When I have to leave the house your pup will be in the spear bedroom so they can walk, drink or whatever they like without having to stay in a cage. Also this insures me that no one will go looking for things to chew on.(couch, trash and what not) This way they can have there own space. I do let them in my room and on my bed as I have a 4 month old son. I am a stay at home mom. Potty breaks every 2 hours and playtime within the yard. Sometimes we go out to the park but only with permission from fur babys parents. All fur babys get baths as needed, nail clipped, treats if allowed and daily walks. I do not watch cats. ALSO MY GERMAN SHEPHERD IS INTACT. I can only watch only fixed males as I can not promise that the male will not get my dog, as we know that dogs will do anything and everything to get to each other.
