VetTech Student Happy to Watch your pets

Pet care experience

HI! My name is Audrey. I'm going to school to be a Veterinary Technician. I also work at a vet office.I have two dogs and a cat of my own, which are VERY spoiled. I’ve worked with animals since I was about 16. I have worked in a few customer service jobs working with people and answering phones and such, but I am much happier when working with Animals. I have two dogs and a cat. One of my dogs and my cat are rescues. I am very excited to get to know you and your pet. I am willing to negotiate fees. I am just here to make sure that you and your pet is comfortable while you are away. I am also very happy to do any household chores such as watering the plants, collecting the mail or the newspaper, and turning any lights on or off. Thank you so much!!

We absolutely loved Audrey!! We were gone for a week and our girls were totally taken care of! She even sent pics of them while we were gone and that really made me feel so much better about the girls being at home. I will for sure be using her again we are so excited to have found someone who loves our girls just as much as we do!!

This is a photo of my Dachshund when he was a puppy. He is 2 years old now. He has separation anxiety so I can't leave him by himself. Medication does not help. He has a "ThunderShirt" that is supposed to calm him down, but he still has problems. The first time Audrey sat with him she held him the entire time I was gone. (Of course, I don't expect her to do that, but I thought it was very sweet.) When Audrey came back a couple of weeks later, he seemed to recognize her and only gave a couple of whimpers after I left. I'm very softhearted toward animals. I do not want them to be in pain or afraid. I can tell Audrey feels the same. I highly recommend her!

Audrey was great with our dachshund. He is on the shy side but warmed up to her immediately and slept on her lap while we were gone.

Information Audrey F. would like to know about your pet

I like to meet the dog at least once before I sit him. That way the first time he sees me won't be when I'm walking into his home without his owner and won't feel the need to possibly protect his home. I also like to go over the feeding schedule and any possible medications that may be necessary.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog I am able , depending on my work or school schedule, to spend about an hour in the morning and an hour or two in the evening. If your pet seems really anxious or upset, I will do my absolute best to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. I will do the same for them that I would want somebody to do for my babies. :) Extra house-sitting services I am also able to water your plants, feed fish, or bring in your mail for you. :)

Why I love dog sitting I have been around dogs my whole life. I currently have a 7 year old Mini Dachshund, 3 year old Sheltie Mix, and 5-6 year old cat. He's a rescue, so I'm not really sure how old he is. I have worked in the shelter and am now working towards a career as a vet tech.
