I currently am a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience, and I am a business owner! Please let me know as much as possible when allowing me to walk or care for your dog. It makes walks, visits, boarding, sitting, and daycare easier and better for everyone. I let your dog set his or her own pace! I do enjoy both brisk walks and relaxing walks. I will let you know if anything happens because I would want to know the same. For example, if I see anything suspicious with your dog's poo or your dog starts limping, I will tell you. I think it's important to know those things, as it can save your dog's life, so I am very transparent about it. Some times bad things happen that you can't prevent. I do my best to prevent a situation from happening and am very aware of my surroundings, but accidents are called accidents for a reason. I will always be transparent and very specific about details! As a trainer, I know that every dog could use improvement in some area. If I notice something that sticks out I will give you my professional opinion on anything that might help. Consider it free training advice! ? I always air on the side of caution when it comes to how I present my opinion, so please know that it is all good intentions! I prefer to take on continuous, daily or weekly clients. My reasoning for this is so I can figure out your dog's walking style and personality and can build a relationship with them and you. Benefits to you are that your dog gets consistent care with someone familiar to them, and you know they are in the hands of someone trustworthy. This is especially important for dogs that are shy or fearful of strangers and new situations. Having lots of people walking them may increase nervousness and fear. I do have several continuously scheduled clients, so if you typically want random or care I may not be able to accommodate you. If I have availability, I'll do my best! ATTENTION: If your dog will be staying at my house they CANNOT be aggressive toward, or fearful of, children or other dogs. Your dog MUST be well-socialized (unless it is a young puppy). I only take on one dog at my house at a time, but I minimize any negative interactions because I don't want your dog, my dogs, or my child to get injured. Additionally, I WILL NOT walk or pet sit any dog that has aggressive tendencies toward people. If I arrive and notice aggression you will be charged the full amount and no services will be rendered. Although I am a trainer I DO NOT specialize in aggression work. Finally, all dogs must be up to date on shots and on a flea and tick preventative!
