Hello I'm Audrey, Great news, we are a fully vaccinated household! A little about me, I am a project manager/UX Designer for a small digital agency in Manhattan. Most days I work remotely out of my home office here in Brooklyn, which allows me to spend my days at home with my Golden Retriever Calliope "Pea". When she was a puppy I had the flexibility to take her out every two hours and train her, now she just spends the day sleeping at my feet! Before having Pea, and addition to having dogs in the past, I’ve done plenty of dog walks and pet sitting for many years. Pea and I will make sure your pup is comfortable and treated as part of our family. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to watch your pup, and Pea is even more excited to have a friend to spend the day with! We live in a 3rd floor walkup, with no elevator, so if steps are an issue, we may not be the right place for your pup. Depending on where you’re located (Park Slope area) I can pick up your pup on foot. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about that.

We are definitely a dog friendly household, with extra bowls, an extra dog bed, plenty of toys and lots of treats. Pea is very friendly, great at sharing all of her things, and is ready to play. We used to crate train Pea so we’re used to that routine if your pup prefers their crate, we have room to accommodate most crate sizes (we do not have any crates anymore).

Pea loves all dogs, so we don't have any breed restrictions, but we would please ask for honesty and if your pup is aggressive or has any behavioral traits we should be aware of. It would also be great to get to know a bit about your pup’s personality, dietary needs, or medications your pup is taking. It would be best, if possible, that we meet you and your pup before we schedule anything, this way we can see if your pup and Pea hit it off. Most of all, we want you to be comfortable and assured that your pup is happy and feeling secure while they're away from you.
A typical day
We live in Park Slope. You can find Pea and me walking to Prospect Park for the off leash hours. Pea especially loves the dog beach. We also live right by the Old Stone House dog run on 5th Ave.

Availability
I work from home (even before the Pandemic) and am able to be at home with your pup. I tend to walk Pea 2-3 times a day, but if your pup needs an extra walk or two, it's not a problem. As noted above, on weekdays we typically do 2-3 walks (quick breakfast and dinner walks, and a longer mid-day walk), and on weekends we tend to do a much longer morning or mid-day walk to Prospect Park and/or dog park. So be prepared for a tired pup by the end of their stay!
