Pet care experience

*I REQUIRE a chart from your vet proving that your dog is vaccinated. Dogs understand us almost completely. I grew up with an abundance of animals, and I can’t see myself without a furry friend! Dogs are the biggest source of happiness in my life. They’re incredibly empathetic, and they deserve the best, most loving care that humans can provide! That’s why I’m thrilled to join the Rover family and offer top-quality care at affordable prices. I’m passionate, energetic, and understanding. My love for animals means that I’m thoroughly devoted to their well-being, and will always go above and beyond your expectations to ensure a wonderful stay. As an athlete, exercise is very important to me and my daily routine, so your dog will get all the exercise she could need! Running is my favorite: I'll run anywhere. Hiking is another obsession. I love everything about nature; I’d be outside all day if I could. I love Forest Park and will check out all the local parks with your pup as soon as I get a chance. In addition to lots of friendly play and cuddles, I’ll provide loving, supportive companionship for you and your dog. I’ll strive to understand and meet their needs--from the most basic physical needs to the most complex emotional care. While house sitting, I'll leave your home looking better than you left it, offer grooming services as needed, and make sure you’re happy with every aspect of my care and service. I’ll also send frequent updates, including photos of playtime! I currently own three dogs. I have experience with dogs of many sizes, ages, and temperaments; I’ve cared for elderly dogs and administered medication whether it be diabetes shots or vaccinations. Of course, highly energetic dogs are great too, and I love caring for larger breeds! I’ve cared for a variety of other pets, including snakes and other reptiles, rats, fish, and so on. At one point, I even had a horse! Though, I’m mildly allergic to cats, unfortunately (but that won’t stop me from petting and playing with them!) I currently work with one rescue that is based out of O'fallon, Illinois. This rescue is known as Once Upon a Prayer Pet Rescue. I frequently transport for them and I used to foster for them as well. I feel completely selfish as a pet-sitter; I get so much joy out of it, and on top of that, the experience I need for a life long career. I know Pet owners need sitters like me to put their minds at ease when they have to travel. I do have an instagram that I post pictures of clients dogs with their permission! Send me a message and I’ll send you the link! Thanks for reading my profile, I hope to meet you soon!

Audrey was great with my dog, and he can be a bit of a handful sometimes. I would definitely book her to watch Ivan again.

Audrey was amazing. She played with our dog every day, took her on walks and runs, sent us daily photos and our dog was all smiles when we picked her up. We’ll definitely bring our dog here again.

Our dogs always have the best time with Audrey. Our little one even came home with a Santa Christmas sweater!

Pics every day of a happy dog obviously in love with Audrey. I couldn’t recommend her more. She is so understanding and communicative and a lovely carer. Your canine child will be well looked after with this amazing human.

Safety, trust & environment

I keep my dogs separated from client dogs for safety, as your dog comes and visits more I will slowly introduce my pack to your pup but It's best to allow a dog to become comfortable with an environment before adding other factors like new dogs. This is just something I've learned from my years of handling all sorts of dogs with different behavioral needs.

Tell me about your pup! ➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳ What are her social habits and behaviors? How does she typically do on walks, at dog parks, and with other people? What commands does your dog know? What about mealtimes, treats, and rewards? Does she guard or protect food? Does she respond to reward-based motivation? What is your usual routine? What restrictions, concerns, or other guidelines should I be aware of? What are her medical needs? Is your dog kennel trained? Does your dog have anxiety?

A typical day

In the morning, we’ll go for a walk--or a run, if she’s up for it! Then we’ll follow your usual schedule. Typically, I’d feed her breakfast, then we’d hang out and play until lunchtime. During the afternoon, we’d go out again before I leave for work. (I’ll fill you in on my schedule, too, so you know exactly what to expect!) On weekends, we might go for a hike, spend more time exploring the neighborhood, or just get extra cuddle time. I’ll be very attentive to your dog’s physical cues, so I know what she’s up for and how she’s most excited to spend her day!
