I’ve had dogs my whole life. Growing up I always had at least 2 dogs in my home. At this time I am apartment living and (was working full time) before the fire burnt down my job. So my dogs now live in Oregon with family. I miss them and I’d love to get to spoil your pets! They are absolutely the loves of my life and I spoil them maybe a little too much ☺️ I have great experience with all breeds of dogs big and small, scared, or overly friendly and excited. In my past pet sitting jobs I have watched over 15 different breeds of dogs overnight and drop in/ dog walking. People always tell me that I have a special connection with dogs and that I know their needs better then anyone they’ve had watch their dogs. I love the spending time getting to know and love each dog! I have great experience training dogs basic commands such at sit, stay, shake, roll over, and am awesome at getting even the crazies dogs to walk on a leash! I also have experience with caring for litters of nursing puppies, and elderly dogs. I am a very high energy person and if your dog needs exercise I am the one for the job. Whether that be a run or a good hike. But I also love to sit and snuggle with the mellow dogs throughout the day. if you are comfortable I will take your dog to the fenced in park by my house to run and play each day. Your dog will spend its day with me in and outside, and be part of my family. I am currently unemployed because my job was in Lahaina and burnt down in the fire! So I’m trying to find some way to make some $$ so I have all the time plus some anyone would need for their dog care needs. I’m willing to negotiate rate or pay if you were affected by the fire in any way. We can all help each other. I have a reliable car, and I can pay for gas for my transportation. When entering someone’s home if allowed by the owner I always offer the dog a treat when I come in to make them feel excited to see me. In a clients home I let the dog outside in the appropriate area the client shows me, and if I am taking the dog on a walk I ask the client where is the best area to do so. I am diligent at remembering to lock doors, shut blinds, and care for the overall house and pet as if they and it were my own.
