Pet care experience
Hi everyone and thanks for considering me! My name is Audra and I’m new to Rover as a sitter but I’ve owned and loved my own pets for 20+ years now. Everything from horses to hamsters I have loved. I even fostered a hurt seagull for a few months. Basically whatever your zoo has in it, I’m happy and excited to take it on! I currently have two dogs, Doodle and Sunny, and four cats, Rue, Aurora, Mickey, and Pippy! All four of my cats are foster fails and my dogs are both shelter rescues. I love going on hikes with the dogs and would be happy to meet your hounds to take them on walks or play out in the hard. I also have experience with guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils so if you need a to be out of town, I’d happily take on the care requirements like changing out bedding or out of the cage play for your tiny fur babies! Audra is wonderful with animals! She has dogs and cats of her own and she’s a great pet owner! I have cats myself and she is always so sweet and caring with them. I’ve actually asked her to petsit for me the next time I go out of town.
Audra loves animals and is tireless in ensuring her pets are properly trained and properly loved. Audra has fostered several cats over the years (a majority of whom she ended up keeping) and has worked with animals as young as just a few weeks old; stimulating them when they need to use the toilet, teaching them how to eat their food and even helping to teach one of the kittens named Mickey to stand and walk properly as he was a 'swimmer' kitten from birth. Audra has spent most of her life around animals and has plans to continue doing so well into the future. Any dog in her care will receive sufficient pets and belly rubs, will be played with and walked and will most importantly be loved from the time she meets the dog till the time she leaves.

I don’t have any breed restrictions or preferences but I would love to know what preferences your dog has towards other pooches and peoples. Do they have requirements for their eating schedules or need privacy while eating? My other dog is a picky eater and feels better eating alone so I’m fully equipped.
A typical day
I’m an active person so I’d love to take on the long walks your dog enjoys! I’ve also got a water dog myself and have no problem getting a little wet or jumping in with your dog at the lake.
