Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Aubrey and I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up on an exotic animal sanctuary where I learned the value and responsibility of caring for my family’s fur family (scales, feathers, and fur included). My experience ranges from caring for the neighbor’s and my own dogs as a kid/teenager all the way to hands on training and obedience classes as an adult which I am so grateful to have learned from my father who worked and continues to work in the animal rescue and conservation realm to this day.
Reviews
Aubrey is amazing!!! I cannot recommend her enough. Our son Bernie (4 year old yorkiepoo) was made to feel 100% a part of her family during his stay and had the best time running around in their large backyard. Aubrey sent lots of pictures/videos and was in constant communication with me. We definitely will be utilizing her services in the future!!!
Aubrey was amazing ? this was our first time using rover and Aubrey took care of our girls just as we would! Feedings done promptly, playtime with the girls, and meds given as required. Aubrey went above and beyond and we appreciate her very much and will be booking her for our next trip ?
Aubrey took great care of Pickles and sent good pictures!
Aubrey was nothing short of amazing. She arrived on schedule and provided detailed descriptions of her drop ins along with tons of photo. Cannot recommend this sitter enough. Will definitely use in the future!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 17 pound dachshund mix (that is our best guess, she is a rescue) who is the sweetest cuddle bug there ever was. We are a cage free house and have a 1/3rd acre fully fenced/shaded yard. We allow dogs on the couch, but not the bed and enjoy lots of outdoor play time. I understand that routine and familiarity are important, especially when changing a dog’s environment, and strive to mimic routines the best I can (I.e. feeding schedules, potty and walk times, etc.).

Availability
I am currently working remotely with a flexible schedule. I am able to take frequent breaks throughout my day which is extremely important to me to be able to give your pup the time and attention they require and deserve. Additionally, I keep dog beds right by my desk (or a crate if your dog is more comfortable/familiar with that) so I can keep an eye on and stay alert to your pet’s needs throughout their stay with me.
