I’ve been dog sitting and walking for a few years now and have experience with drop in visits as well as overnights. My schedule varies because I’m a nursing student with two jobs. I have been around dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. In nursing school I have given injections as well as oral medications so I can confidently prepare and administer these, if needed. I am certified in CPR and first aid as well as have had light training in vetinary CPR. I can recognize symptoms of infection, seizures, allergy, or illness in dogs and will be able to assess and implement acute treatment when and if necessary. I have an SUV with a large back seat that dogs of all shapes and sizes will be safe in if transportation is necessary for any reason.

I generally like to take dogs on walks to places that are somewhat familiar and have as much trees and grass as possible. Depending on their activity level, I am okay taking slow or fast walks and making needed water and snack breaks especially for more geriatric dogs.
