I have several years under my belt of extensive pet care experience, especially dogs! From young puppies still in training to very old dogs with specific medical needs, from tiny Yorkshire terriers to giant Saint Bernards- I’ve run the gamete. I’ve also learned from my wide range of experience in pet care that you need patience, adaptability, and a great sense of fun with every job. While dogs are my specialty I also have extensive experience caring for a wide range of other animals: from standard farm animals, to wild Alaskan animals. It’s true... for three years I was a tour guide at the Alaska Reindeer Farm (a tourist attraction, not meat farm I promise) where it was in my job description to help care for our herds of reindeer and elk, as well as our rescued moose and North American Bison. So when I say I understand the importance adaptability in pet care, trust me. Give me your specific set of instructions and I’ll do what it takes to make sure you and your pet are comfortable and satisfied for as long as you need me! Aside from cats and horses which I have an allergic reaction to, I am open to caring for all pets who want a friend and responsible care giver!
