I've been taking care of dogs and other animals since I was old enough to handle a leash--practically my whole life. I've lived with up to four dogs and several other pets at a time, and I have to say nothing makes me happier than being surrounded by happy animals! I'm experienced in bathing/grooming dogs with short, long, and double coats, and trimming their nails. I can administer oral medication and injections. I've cared for many senior dogs and am happy to cater to their unique needs. I have experience with many dog breeds, including: - Norwegian elk hound - German Shepherd - Clumber Spaniel - Bernese Mountain Dog - Rottweiler - Papillon - Corgi - Chihuahua - Sheep Dog - Greyhound - Heelers - Labs - Pomeranians - Terriers - Mastiffs - Mystery mixes of all shapes and sizes Regarding other animals: I've owned and loved cats, large and small parrots, hamsters, goldfish and beta fish, so I can take care of all your furry, feathered, and finned friends! I can clean aquariums, administer fish medications/water treatments, and change filters. I'm experienced in cleaning avian and small mammal enclosures, litter boxes, dishes, toys--I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I can treat blood feathers should they pop up, provide baths and showers, and can trim nails if needed.
