Like most reasonable people, I’ve loved animals my whole life. I spent many Saturday’s as a young adult just hanging out and volunteering at the animal shelter because it made me so happy. I think what sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very patient, self-aware, and I’m not easily grossed out. I’ve sat still for hours waiting for an animal to trust me enough to approach me. I make sure to read their bodies before extending my hand, and I am conscientious of making noise because I want them to be comfortable. I don’t have a weak stomach when it comes to shedding, drool, or accidents.

Aubrey is THE BEST! I am a VERY detailed and scheduled crazy dog lady and would recommend her 1000x over. Aubrey has been visiting my 2 senior fur babies weekly and often daily for 6+ months now. They both have very different personalities and she is able to cater to both incredibly well with great updates. She did awesome with giving meds and monitoring respiratory rates as needed for my dog with heart failure and no doubt went above and beyond many times. She is very dependable and trustworthy, I genuinely wish I could pack her and take her with us everywhere we go!

I was nervous about leaving my dog for a week, but with Aubrey's reports, pictures, and messages I felt much more at ease. She did a great job, and my dog loved her!

I will follow the direction and guidelines of the pet owner to keep the animal safe. I am a cautious person and would not let somebody else’s pet outside without a harness or secure fence unless otherwise directed. If your animal is coming to my house, I will separate my two cats from your pets (even though they are very friendly and curious, but it’s better to be safe than sorry).

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. I do not mind what size or breed your dog is when I’m watching them or just checking in—I love animals of all sizes!—but I prefer to walk smaller dogs since I am small myself and want us both to be safe. Additionally, please let me know what to expect of your dog when I am walking them. For example, if they are aggressive when seeing another dog or if they stay close to the owner.
A typical day
I like to walk my cats around my neighborhood, and I will do the same for your pets (if desired). I could also take them to the dog park or to a park trail for longer exercise.

Availability
I am a substitute teacher for elementary schools in the area and I work when I can, but there are many days when there are no listings available, or that I’m working partial days. I’m generally pretty free.
