Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs, I always felt a strong connection with them. As I got older, I volunteered through my girl scout troop at the LASPCA, and really loved working with the dogs in the shelter. As an adult, I got to pursue my dream of working with animals even more by working as a veterinary technician and assistant. One of the things I loved most about that job was watching the bond between owners and their pets. I'm a caretaker by nature, and love making both people and animals feel happy. I also enjoy communicating to owners about how their dog is doing. I've been spending the last few years working in the medical field with people, but decided that I am most passionate about caring for animals and their owners. I would love the opportunity to keep you and your fur baby smiling!

Although I'm experienced with almost all breeds, I do need to know about their general behavior and disposition. Are they skittish? Are they food aggressive? Do they require medicine? Are there any quirks they have (i.e. thunder storms, rain, loud noises, moving too quickly towards their face to put their leash on, etc.) Also, what are their favorite treats? Toys? Diet restrictions? Skin allergies?
A typical day
Photography is a hobby of mine, so while you're away, I'd love to send you pictures of your dog or dogs enjoying themselves playing with toys or out on fun walks. If dog parks are an amenable idea to my client, I'm happy to take any pup for some fun at the park, or a walk on the lakefront.
