Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs as long as I can remember but became more advanced with dog care when I turned 17. I've been taking care of my own pets with pride since then and have been called the "crazy dog mom" by some of my friends. I believe dogs are family and they deserve the best care that any human child deserves. I have trained my own dogs various commands and believe that even an old dog can learn new tricks - it just takes time and patience.

I have a fenced in potty pen that has a doggy door access to. I also have two furry dogs that will keep other pups company! Both of my dogs are friendly dogs and get daily walks. My dogs have free choice with their food but if I have to accommodate, they are able to switch over to a scheduled feeding. I have dog-sat for family friends in the past and with instructions on how you want your animals cared for, I will ensure that it happens just so. I have a partial fenced in back yard but I always make sure that dogs get at least one long walk in each day.

Let me know if there are any behaviors that your dog may have and how to best combat those behaviors. It is important for me to know if the dog is food aggressive or does not get along with dogs/cats/certain ages of children.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with dogs and take them on nice long walks to check out all the new smells. I also have access to a dog park if we want to get some extensive exercise and fun in! After a nice day, I relax with the dogs and have mental stimulating games to play with them

Availability
I work at a hospital one day during the week and then every other weekend - so my schedule does vary but for the most part, I will be home. I also am attending nursing school but will never be gone for a long period of time.
