Please make me aware if your dog has any special needs. That could be medication, help down or up stairs, etc. My boyfriend and I both taught both our dogs sit, paw, down, and other commands like come, stay when we rescued them, so if you’d be interested in some basic training just let me know!

I have a high energy dog myself. So, in a scenario where they need a good amount of exercise I would do 3 things typically. I love getting towels of any kind and hiding treats in it, then rolling it up and having my dog find the treats. It’s a great way to stimulate them mentally, which can be more tiring than physical play in some cases. Then, I would play with them outside. Whether that involves tossing a ball back and forth with them or playing tug with a rope. Finally, we would go on a walk either around the block by the house or at a nearby park!
