Pet care experience
I have always had cats in my house. When friends and family leave town for any period of time, I am the one that watches their dogs and cats while they are gone. I love every animal I come across and always treat them as if they were my own because they are all precious family members. Always willing to learn anything new regarding caring for anybody's pets. I have extensive experience caring for senior babies from helping family to my most recent late Fizgig whom was almost 19 years old when she passed. I'm usually available at the spur of the moment too in case an emergency comes up and you need someone immediately.

I was so thankful to find such a cat lover! Astra was super helpful and flexible. She was able to give my cat medicine and spent extra time with him afterwards. She is highly recommended!
Astra has been amazing with our new baby. He’s a puppy and needs so much attention. She came to our house on time and made sure our puppy was well fed and went to the restroom. She played with him and left us feeling so comfortable while away on business. I would definitely recommend Astra and can’t wait to book her again. Bradford has the best visits with Astra and looked forward to seeing her.
Astra sat for our dog and 2 different cats several times over the last several yrs. She loved them and cared for them as if they were her own pets. She txted us and even sent video which I really appreciated. If she can deal with our "diva" cat she can deal with any difficult pet. I trust her completely.
Astra was great. She kept me posted with pictures and updates on how Melo was doing throughout the weekend. Would definitely recommend and have her back!

I am extremely meticulous about following directions, and always love it when there's notes or lists left for me to follow. I love everybody's fur babies as if they are my own. After the loss of my Yoda in 2019 from cancer, and the loss of my Fizgig in 2021 from old age, I was told that I still have so much love left to give. I originally started doing this to honor Yoda and promised I would help care for any fur babies the best I could since there was nothing I could do to save him. I would do my best to care for yours the way you specify, and would shower them with so much love!

No breed preferences, but I would need to know their usual demeanor, and if anything makes them temperamental. I am excellent at following directions, so if there are any special or specific requirements I would follow them exactly as told.
A typical day
They would enjoy lots of cuddles. I do have several parks around where I live that I could take them for walks at. If they would not be walked. I would brush them if a brush is available, and make use of any of their favorite toys.

Right now I am in process of filing for disability, so I am available any day of the week, and at any time of the day! Would love these times to spend with fur babies, and to help pay my bills in the process.
