Having Ashtyn take care of our Berner Gus was like leaving him at a 5 star doggie camp. He had an absolutely amazing time and was so well taken care of - we will definitely be leaving him there again whenever we go out of town. Thanks, Ashtyn!
The best family away from home my dog could have. This family Will be my forever sitter/ boarder.??
We never worry about the cats or our house when Ashtyn is on the job! She is fantastic with the cats, and takes great care of the house and even watered all my plants! Thank you Ashtyn!
Mini-farm with trails to explore!
Farm girl moved to the Pacific Northwest. I have many years of experience caring for all animals- dogs included. Spent nearly two years working at a dog daycare & boarding/vet clinic (Heartland Play and Stay, Wichita Kansas). I enjoyed playing with and caring for the dogs as if they were my own. My time at the clinic is where I learned valuable skills in handling dogs and cats, basic animal first aid and how to ...
What Ashtyn would like to know about your dog
• Dogs must be comfortable with children!
-This applies to boarding, drop in visits, and walks.
•ALL boarding clients must to be:
-current on vaccines and flea medication
-spayed or neutered when older than 1 year of age
***First time boarders, I'll ask to meet you and your dog at Reber Ranch dog park to make sure we are the best fit for you. Meeting at a neutral place like Reber Ranch is a great way for you to chat with me in person, see how my dogs interact with yours, and for you to ask any questions prior to your dog staying on our farm.***
Does your dog have recall ('come/heal' when called)? Respectful of indoors (potty trained, doesn't chew furniture, mark/pee on things, etc.)? Leash trained for walks? Allergies? Ok with outdoor cats?
Being crate trained isn't necessary for your dog to stay with me but is helpful. If I do have to run errands, go to appointments etc. I do separate my dogs and yours to make certain nothing happens and everyone stays safe while I am out.
Owners bring their own food. This will help prevent your dog having an upset stomach from a food change.
While our yard is unfenced, I do my best to ensure the safety and security of your dog. I do have a completely fenced in field for free play. For adventure prone pups, I have a twenty foot lead line which allows us to run and play safely in the un-fenced areas of our yard. I don't let anyone roam off leash if they are a known explorer or wildlife chaser and haven't mastered recall. I have a double barrier at the front door to prevent escapees, this also works as a separate feeding area for those pups who prefer eating alone.
We enjoy dogs of all sizes but are especially comfortable with large breeds.
