Ashtyn was fantastic, yet again. This is the 3rd time we’ve used her and will definitely hire her again in the future! Our cats always seem vaguely disappointed when we come back lol, they have too much fun playing with her!
Wonderful home for a stay! Ashtyn's mini-farm was a "Dogsiland" for our pet. We loved the pictures she sent of Chase playing with her children and dog as well as him investigating his new environment. After dropping him off, the thought flashed across our minds that he won't want to come home! We are quite sure that he loved his time there.
Ashtyn is fantastic! She came over twice a day to feed and love on our kitties over a long weekend. She arrived when she said she would and sent detailed reports and photos for every visit. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future!
Large farm to run,play-Always home!
New puppy joining our family in December! Limited availability until June 2019.
Farm girl moved to the Pacific Northwest. I have many years experience caring for all animals- dogs included. Spent nearly two years working at a dog daycare & boarding/vet clinic (Heartland Play and Stay, Wichita Kansas). I enjoyed playing with and caring for the dogs as if they were my own. I know basic animal first aid and know how to properly ...
What Ashtyn would like to know about your dog
New puppy coming in December, I will not be accepting new boarding clients until June 2019. In home care still available.
***For first time boarders, I'll ask to meet you and your dog at Reber Ranch dog park to make sure we are the best fit for you. Meeting is a great way for you to chat with me in person, see how my dog interacts with yours on neutral ground and for you to ask any questions prior to your dog staying on our farm.***
Friendly with other dogs and children is a must. Does your dog have recall ('come/heal' when called)? Respectful of indoors (potty trained, doesn't chew furniture, mark/pee on things, etc.)? Leash trained for walks? Allergies? Being crate trained isn't necessary for your dog to stay with me but is helpful to know. I have a large wire crate for boarder use if you'd rather not pack yours over. Owners bring their own food, this will help prevent your dog having an upset stomach from a food change. Mini-fridge available for raw food diets and storing canned food or medications. Other items you're welcome to send with your dog are blankets, toys, treats, etc. These things aren't necessary to bring but they often help with keeping your dog comfortable during their stay. I have a cupboard set aside for storing your dog's items.
While our yard is unfenced, I do my best to ensure the safety and security of your fur-baby. For adventure prone dogs, I have a twenty foot lead line which allows us to run and play freely. I don't let anyone roam off leash if they are a known explorer or wildlife chaser. When the sheep aren't home, we get to play off leash in their pasture. Or we can head to the dog park (with owner permission). I have a double barrier at the front door to prevent escapees, this also works as a separate feeding area for those pups who prefer eating alone.
We love large breed dogs! Any size dogs are welcome but I would say I specialize more toward larger dogs.
