Ashton does a wonderful job taking care of the kitties - food, water, medicine, litter and playing. She does it all! reliable and trustworthy with plenty of updates and pics. :)

Animal lover with flexible hours

I am a part time college student who also works part time. While I am not usually gone this long during the average day, I am currently only accepting clients whose dogs can be left unattended for up to 8 hours at a time to account for potty breaks. As such, I do not take puppies or senior dogs who are unable to hold their bladders for that long as it would not be fair ...

What Ashton would like to know about your dog

As I house sit or do drop ins and don't take boarding dogs, I'm willing to watch whatever breed, size or type of dog you have. I'm far more concerned with the temperament and personality of the individual animal in question than their breeds.

Basically, I'm flexible and am perfectly content going at their pace. If they're cuddle bugs who want to snuggle in my lap, that is fine. If they're shy and would prefer I just let them sit in their kennel until they warm up to me, that's fine too. I am perfectly comfortable handling DA/AA dogs, and while I have a moderate comfort level dealing with “quirky” dogs in regards to human interaction, I will not watch dogs who are outright human aggressive.

I would like to know in advance if they have any medication, allergies, or things that they simply do not like (being picked up, being pet in certain places, etc.).

I also need to know the treat policy- I'd hate to deprive a dog who's used to being given treats just for being adorable, but understand and absolutely respect that others have stricter feeding regimes for their dogs.

When Ashton watches your pet

The activities will depend on the dog- if they're high energy, we'll spend plenty of time running around the yard, playing with toys or going for jogs. If they're a happy little couch potato, we'll get some good snuggle time in.

Walks are typically going to be around the neighborhood, walking away from home for half the length of the walk, and coming back the other half.

I normally jog on a daily basis so if your dog is one who likes to go for a run as opposed to just a walk, then I can do that as well.
