Pet care experience
Hello folx and fur babies! I've worked professionally with animals for the last 9 years, though I've grown up with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I work part-time as a Kennel Tech at a private clinic, and do Rover as a side gig - I love working with all types of dogs/ cats, and am definitely open to caring for any other animals you might have! I particularly have experience working with rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. I’ve studied pet nutrition, health and behavior, and am willing to help you with any advice/ training tips you may need! I am trained to administer medication, including injections/ LSR. Ashton took amazing care of Simba! She provided a safe and comfortable environment for him while I was away and gave him loads of love!! Ashton was also very attentive to Simba’s needs!! 11/10 experience!!!!
Ashton is the best. Her love and compassion for all animals is inspiring. If you ever need to go out of town, you can bet your animals will be well taken care of, and very loved while you are away. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t enjoy hanging out with Ashton.
Ashton took amazing care of our pet, George, while our family was on vacation for a week, coming by twice daily for playtime and snuggles and sending us regular updates with pictures. Ashton generally is professional, super easy to communicate with, responsible, and loving — I’ll definitely reach out again when we need pet sitting!

I'd like to know about any behaviors your dog might have in general or while out on a walk, such as aggression with other dogs/ food/ toys/ people/ etc. I’d also appreciate knowing about any health issues so that I can safely care for your pet!
A typical day
I love being outside and going on adventures, so if you think your dog would love an hour or two on a trail or any other dog-friendly areas in town, let me know. I also consider myself pretty active, so I can play a long game of fetch or even skateboard/ bike with your doggo if they’re into that!

I am currently working part time at a vet hospital, so my schedule is pretty flexible for pet care! That being said, It’s hard to know my schedule more than a couple weeks in advance FYI :)
