Pet care experience
I have owned a dog my whole life and have raised my current 3 year old dog since he was 3 months old. In high school, I walked my dog everyday for one hour and was his primary care taker. I love dogs very much, but being in college, I unfortunately don't have the time to own a dog. My dog is now living with my parents and although I see him on the rare occasions I go home, it's very hard being away. I have experience with training my dog, who was very aggressive and shy when he was young, and taking care of his basic needs. I am really excited about this job because I miss the love, affection, and happiness being around a dog provides.

I live in an apartment building, but last year I had my dog with me and I would take him to a park that’s right outside my building. There’s tons of walking paths around me as well and I love going on walks! I allow pets free access to my entire apartment and am able to take them out several times throughout the day.

A typical day
-go on walks on the various trails around where I live -play with dog toys that I have (tennis balls, chew toys, ropes for tug)

Availability
I’m currently in law school but don’t have class Thursdays-Sundays so those are the best days for me to dog sit! I don’t really leave my apartment (apart from running a few errands here and there) so on those days, I’m able to be home with a pet for the majority of the day. I typically study for a couple of hours and then just hang out at home.
