Pet care experience
I am studying at K-state, as an agribusiness major with a minor in pet food science. I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and have been working in shelters and rescue programs for 5+ years now. I also have a lot of experience with pet sitting, and can accommodate any/all animals. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend, 2 cats, ferrets and rats. My pets spend their days sleeping on the couches, hanging out on the balcony with us, and going out to the open yards to play. The ferrets and rats won’t be introduced to any pets that stay here, the cats are both very timid and will more than likely hide when new pets are around. My goal is to keep your baby healthy and happy during their stay here, so please keep me informed on any health/behavior issues so that I can be on top of them :)

I have a shelter rescue that started off very shy, I was lucky enough to find Ashlynn the first time I needed a sitter and have only used her since. She does really well with helping him feel comfortable and now he gets excited when I say “you’re going to Ashlynn’s!” It is very clear that she loves animals and does an amazing job with the pets in her home. I don’t ever look forward to leaving my dog behind but I love knowing that he has a good place to stay with a good friend :)
I’ve had Ashlynn watch my pets at my house, and at hers before. My dog really seems to like her, and looks really happy in all of the photos that are sent to me. She has also been really helpful with my pet snake, I was worried because rover doesn’t have an option for small animal care, but she was really helpful and just marked him as a cat for 5$ and we were on our way! Along with great care I’ve gotten a lot of great advice from her.
Ashlynn is a great animal lover that knows how to handle dogs. My family has two dogs and she handles them great. She takes them on walks. At her own house is five dogs that are well taking care of. I would recommend her as a dog sitter to anyone in need of one. I have used her in the passed when my family has left town for a week on more than one occasion.
