I am a senior veterinary assistant for a large veterinary hospital. I am comfortable with a wide array of medical conditions and concerns and am more than happy to work with pets who need additional care. Through this field of work I discovered a passion for animal behavior and training. I spend much of my free time studying or filling my time with training clients and working to help better the lives of both owner and dog. My values focus on building dogs up and never breaking them down, I practice science based force and fear free training, taking great care when considering the overall wellbeing of your pet. Outside of this field I enjoy hiking or spending my time reading.

It was funny, I actually met Ashlyn on the People of Wilsonville on Facebook as she was offering nail clippings for your dog. I asked if she did sitting, which she did. She is flexible, which is great if your schedule is known to change each week, and on sudden notice, like mine. It is a relief knowing she is available at almost any given time. As for her services, she is very friendly, respectful and goes out of her way to make sure everything's ok. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Ashlyn is amazing!!! I will hire her every time we our out or when we need the extra help. I needed someone to walk my dog Bear while we were on vacation and she gave us the piece of mind that we needed knowing that Bear was going to be loved, walked and in great hands while we were gone. I knew that someone that works with animals, loves them very much too and would know what to do if anything were to happen. She is very loving and friendly and truly loves Bear😊, Bear goes crazy every time he sees her. He loves her too!

I also prioritize all aspects of enrichment to meet pets needs while their people are away.

It is important for me to know if your pet had any medical needs or requirements. This includes food allergies, needed medications or medical conditions. If pets have behavioral concerns I prefer to have a meet and great beforehand to discuss what is best for your pet to ensure both comfort and safety during visits. Please note: I do not work with aversive tools. I am still happy to watch and walk your pet if you are comfortable having them removed for our time together.
A typical day
I understand that exercise only meets a small portion of a pets daily needs. I prioritize enrichment and ensuring pets feel that their needs are being met, while tiring both body and mind.
