Pet care experience
Hailing from Yarmouth, NS - my love for animals brought me to Moncton, NB. Here I attended Oulton College and earned my diploma in Veterinary Technology. Fast forward 6 years and I’m livin’ the dream with my Dachshunds. Spending my free time as the resident RVT at Atlantic Wildlife Institute and maintaining my sanity by getting a yoga practice in whenever possible. Always looking for new adventures, especially those that involve the great outdoors. Well-versed in different doggy breeds and needs, definitely not afraid to poop pick. A sucker for orange cats, I always have to have a few in my life. My current 3 rescue kitties would give me 5/5 stars - two meals a day and optimal head scratches provided. Also a lover of exotics, I’ve had a plethora of funny friends.

Wonderful cat sitting! Came home to happy cats.
Having Ashlyn look after our 15 year old kelpie worked out beautifully! Our dog received the care and love he needed. We came home each day to a relaxed and happy dog. It was easy to communicate with Ashlyn and she promptly got back to us. I hope she is available to look after Java again!
Our pups had a great stay with Ashlyn and co! I wasn't worried once about them! Our best experience with a dog sitter yet, we will be back!
So happy with Ashlyn. She sent pictures and videos through-out the day. All three of our dogs were spoiled with love. Easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Any behaviour issues, triggers, things that make your dog feel unsafe are extremely important to me. These are all priorities to me and your dog!
A typical day
I love to be outside! Coincidentally, so do most dogs. A walk around the waterfowl park or an excursion in the woods is key in my daily routine. Brain stimulation is also important, frozen Kongs and tricks for treats are the way to be.

Pet care is my day! I don’t remember the last time I spent time without an animal nearby. I can genuinely say I eat/sleep/breathe animals.
