Animals have always been a huge part of my life from as young as I can remember. I am so excited I can finally spend more time with them. I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, puppies and seniors. We have a rescue that we love dearly. He is a 70lb heeler/pointer mix. To me, pets are family, and always will be. Before I had my two wonderful children, I was able to spend time with animals in my spare time. I volunteered at an animal shelter in Texas where I walked dogs 2-3 days a week. I also volunteered at a bunny rescue in California, something very different, but also very exciting. I now volunteer at a local rescue where i helped look after the dogs and cats on the farm. In between volunteering, I have also fostered dogs. As a young child, I always wanted to save animals. I went to college and obtained a degree in Animal Biology hoping to work with animals one day. That didn't exactly happen. I ended up working in genetics for many years, but I have decided it is time to do what I enjoy most and that's spending time with animals. I would love to have the opportunity to meet and spend time with your pets.
