I am a mommy to three dogs, five cats, one ferret, lots of scaled critters, and a few arachnids. This house is one that loves all kinds of critters. I enjoy caring for all types of animals, and have spent years learning about them. Before moving to the gulf coast, I was a professional nanny, and in my spare time, I volunteered with a group called A Cats Friend. With ACF, I fed cat colonies, kept habitats at our Dale City Petco adoption location, and helped with Trap Neuter Release efforts. When I got here, I had a tough time finding work, so I did a little bit of time in food service & retail. I was eventually able to start work at the Biloxi Petco, before they opened. I spent three years there, and I am now training to be a professional dog groomer at a locally owned shop. It is the best way I can think of to make animals feel good, without student loans to go to veterinary school. I do work during the day, learning my new trade, 4 days per week, however my husband is home during the day. We work as a team boarding, and it works out nicely, because we have one of us at home, almost all of the time. He is also a Rover approved caregiver.
